I think it was a huge mistake not putting the hose swivel on the new 11😮

I’m one of those that didn’t notice any great difference. I felt some tiredness that is better, but nothing earthshaking.

This is the worst recommendation ever! This is what I hear…. “CPAP machines are quieter than ever, so put it on the floor and jeopardize your health by sucking in all the pet dander, fecal matter from the outdoors, human skin cells, hair, dust, pathogens like bacteria and viruses and mold spores.” Seriously! Why would you suggest this? Can you find a single user guide that includes this direction or advice. The display screen on CPAP devices is found on the front of the device so it can be conveniently read at eye level, where the machines air intake is much safer above the floor.🤷🏻‍♂️ Why would you suggest otherwise? Do you sell devices with the display on top, so it can be read from the floor? This is NOT a best practice.

Aside from the first two minutes of personal information- yes, yes, we understand she was your girlfriend and is now your wife…none of that matters - this is marginally helpful. I don’t think it’s a great idea to lead with the fact that you personally took to it right from day one. That’s not realistic for the vast majority of users and is an odd flex to include. It’s just unnecessary information. I would also question your assertion that you need to get support only from other apnea sufferers. I don’t need or expect my clinicians to have every condition I have, and the respiratory therapist I worked with for getting going with CPAP was extremely knowledgeable and supportive, without herself having apnea.

I got some cheap generic full mask that is so annoying and uncomfortable.

I can’t remember how many times I stopped but my specialist called me the very next day after my test , and scared me with the results, I went and got the Resmed and got use to wearing pretty quickly, I tried 3 or 4 different mask I settled for the nose only

Star Wars warned us. The answer was right in front of us the whole time. Darth Vader was only bad because he couldn’t sleep. The mask gave him powers, powers too great for him to handle lol

My old resmed 10 would draw with heating tube/tank on close to 40 watts and heating off over 20 watts. Resmed 11 drew with heating tube/tank over 20 watts and heating off over 5 watts. I used my allpower battery bank with DC cigarette power cord and after over 10 hours with heat off it had 55% power left looks like resmed 11 is more power efficient than 10.

And if you have an oxygen hose hooked to it that presents additional problems.

What is the definitive cure though?

I got a CPAP (I had stopped beathing 99 times/hr) but my watch kept saying I was still snoring. Turns out it was picking up my wife :). Had my CPAP over 5 years. Won't try to sleep without it. I have only gone for 2 days without it during the Bateman Bay Area fires when the power went out for days.

Do yourself a favor. Get a teleprompter. Looking to the sides doesn’t look good

My problem is the latch tab to hold the water retainer closed. Mine does no latch properly, and during thenight, the entire lid will pop up and make a greal deal of noise. The latch feels like it ismissing a spring possibly tohold it closed. Any ideas?

Very helpful video, it's certainly goes a long way to helping me with my anxiety as regards the life changing aspect of using CPAP machine.

Is it same software 10 uses ? I have that for 10 really doesn't tell me much just number for the day 0 - 100. The new power plug is going to be a problem for my power bank which bought special DC cable that had cigarette plug to connect so consumes less power not drain power bank. What to do with 11 since will not fit

I receive the s-m Evora mask and after trying it on a couple of times, it completely plugged my nose. I’m wondering if I need the large cushion. This is the first hybrid full-face mask I’ve tried. Cheers!

Ive been breathing straight co2 for hours. This mask is gunna give me brain damage. Im getting less air than if i take it off. Is there a valve i need to open?

My CPAP technician didn't do a very good job in explaining how to do any of this regarding the mask. I also didn't get a user's guide in the bag she gave me which was already opened by her. I agree about the S-M size, which should just be M. I will be starting to wear it soon, but will certainly watch this video a few more times while holding my mask. Thanks!

Just did the test, was surprised with the results, 60 times a hr, min 20 sec max 56 sec not breathing, not sure really why its happening medically , considered health at my age, stopped breathing for 168 times that test in 4 hrs, no wonder why I don't feel good and draggy all day, also have high blood pressure and I eat well and active riding bicycle and my job is physically demanding, last year or so was winded at work for no reason, maybe this will explain, going to get the machine soon to start the process. hopefully it gives me the hope I need to make my life better and enjoy a day without fatigue and feel unhealthy. This video and comments really help me start my journey in a better mental state knowing im not alone. Like see comments on it helped their way of live.

So the nose area isnt supposed to sit under your nose and slightly above? Maybe this is why my mask feels like the nose area is collapsing hmmm

Does the adjustment wakes you up during the night? Also how can you learn the values selected automatically, so it can be adjusted if need it. Any chance of an answer?

The worst mask ever. The stupid hose fitting they have that connects the hose to the mask is stupid. It doesn't rotate and pops off all through the night. Getting woke up to loud air noise is worse than having sleep Apnea. If they would fix that stupid connection it would be a good mask. I'm going to try Gorilla Glue.

I needed an x-small which was not included in the packet.

airsense 11 and airmini motors are the same. They are the same size and weight with the same connections. The only thing different is the length of the ribbon cable that connects into the PCB but the apart from that the blowers are identical (and you would expect this from ResMed to streamline supply chain/manufacturing). I've taken them both apart and i've even connected an airmini blower to the airsense 11 and it works (just can't close the chassis). Cheers

I look at my cpap score everyday and the mask on/off usually varies a little bit but does it count against you if you have to go to the bathroom a few times during the night? I've noticed that it seems to deduct points for that. 🤔

First night was last night and it was horrible! Dry nose, if you open your mouth you can’t breathe with it in, took it off for awhile and had worst lucid dreams of my life

Got my cpap a week ago. I've managed to cut my sleep in half compared to last week. I feel like death. It'll take some time before I get a proper night of sleep but goodness it's just a nightmare. My insomnia is constantly fighting to stay awake

Can i use my resmed head gear and the hoses from the DS2?

I have been using CPAP and corrective mouth pieces for 8 months. According to my machine data, my sleep stoppages have been hugely reduced from 50 per minute to under 10 per minute. Great news, but I have got no relief in how my head feels when I wake up. My brain feels cloudy, heavy, foggy, like waking up after taking a powerful sleeping pill. And this uncomfortable feeling is staying with me 24/7. It is just as bad as when I am not using the CPAP at all. Sort of defeats the purpose of these tools when there has been no improvement in the quality of my mind when I get up. My eyes are as dry as a desert, and my head feels the same way...baked. Is it more likely caused by the machine (leakage) or a problem which the CPAP isn't addressing, like obstructive apnea or another brain issue altogether?

For 10 years I have have these strange symptoms of waking up with no energy in my body every 2 weeks or so. It lasts a day or two and no tests can reveal anything. Can it actually be from not having ny strap on tight enough?
